Hello. My name is Ben Ben - Hamilton Estate Services

I started Hamilton Estate Services a few years ago when my 20+ year career in radio came to a crashing halt. It was something I hadn’t really prepared for, and being not quite 50, I still needed to work. I started working for a friend who owned a junk removal business. It was something to keep me busy and active, I thought at the time.

Over the next year or so of working for my friend, and often talking to his customers, I noticed there was often much more required at certain jobs. People would often say they wish they’d had more time to sort through things before simply throwing them away. Or wonder aloud who they would have to hire to clean once the clear out was done.

And that’s when I remembered what my Mother went through when her parents could no longer live independently in their home of almost 50 years. My grandparents had 5 decades worth of “stuff” in the home, and despite their best intentions, the interior of the house was filthy.

My mother (who had her own home and career) was left to not only support her aging parents, and find them new accommodations, and all that comes with that …. Now she had a house to empty, clean, and prepare for sale. At that time, there wasn’t a service to help with that.

And that’s sort of how Hamilton Estate Services started. You see, it was my parents, and my sister, and I who had to do all that work. And it was overwhelming. Not just the physical work, but the emotional rollercoaster of sifting through all of the memories as well.

That experience led me to approach any situation with compassion and understanding. And above all … to “do it right.” Whether it’s emptying items out of a home, or sorting and packing, or deep cleaning in “extreme” situations, or even painting and minor repair …. We understand that the stresses our customers often feel are caused by being overwhelmed or sometimes embarrassed that they couldn’t do it themselves. So, we take the time to understand the circumstances and how to help in a way that relieves that stress and is agreeable to the customer.

Our goal is not just to make you happy with the end result, but to make the journey a more pleasant one. We look forward to hearing from you!
