This single detached home in Hamilton had been lived in by the same family for over 45 years. After the parents passed away, their son and his wife were left with a full house and needed a cleanout so that it could be put up for sale.
There were some challenges with this job. There was a great deal of nicotine damage done to the walls and ceilings from decades of cigarette smoking, and there were a LOT of family heirlooms that needed to be sifted through, sorted, carefully packaged, and set aside.
We had the house fully cleaned and cleared out in just two days, and all of the “special items” made it to their new homes.
What made this job special was working with a client who was quite emotional as he sorted through years of memories. We were happy to make the entire process as comfortable and stress free as possible.
